What our students are saying ...

“Sports Medicine helps me to learn how to be healthy and stay safe while exercising. The prevention of sports-related injuries is really important. Everything I learn in this class applies to real life.”
- Devyn O.

“Sports Medicine is one of the classes that I am most glad to have taken during my high school career. The information that I was able to take from the class is by far some of the most important knowledge I will have going forward in life! I am an active person, and all things from good dieting, to correct stretching procedures, to knowing when it is safe to get out there and play regarding weather conditions are all wonderful bits I have learned. Perhaps most importantly though, we learned how to diagnose and treat all different kinds of injuries. I know there will be a time in my life in the great outdoors when the ability to recall these things will be greatly important to helping someone in an emergency situation. But the best part was the way it was taught through diagrams, pictures and models because it allowed me to truly understand what was being described in the text. Add that with the coolest documentaries and explanatory videos, and there you have arguably the most impactful fragment of my high school schedule.”
- Jaden G.
